In 2005, he joined French side Auxerre, entering in their academy. He signed his first professional contract in 2008/09 season, when he played in overall three matches, including a fantastic performance against Lyon. The season later, he became a crucial player of the team, scoring his first goal in Ligue 1 against Monaco. Although 2010/11 season started on the same level, he got injured. He returned in the first months of 2011. On August 31st 2011 he signed a new contract with Auxerre, whose would explain in 2015. During 2011/12 season, there were many rumors about a possible move of N'Dinga to Lyon to replace Jeremy Toulalan, who had joined Malaga: Auxerre's President Gerard Bourgoin decided to reject all the offers for the Congolese midfielder. However, at the end of 2011/12 season, Auxerre was relegated to Ligue 2 and so the player had the opportunity to leave the club.
