Delvin N'Dinga: "Samba said I wouldn't regret to join Lokomotiv".

Lokomotiv's newcomer Delvin N'Dinga gave an interview to sportexpress.ru, sharing his first feelings for the transfer to the Moscow club. 

- I know Lokomotiv is a well-known top club in the Russian Football. I want to show my best qualities to settle down into Moscow and to bring trophies to Lokomotiv.

- Which are your main tasks moving to Russia?
- In football you can decide what is more important: personal results or team results. I've chosen the second ones. I returned to Monaco after two season in Olympiacos, where I've won the Greek League two times and also the Cup. Why don't continue my career in Lokomotiv?

- Lokomotiv will face Zenit in the Russian Super Cup. You've played against them with Auxerre in the preliminary round of Champions League five years ago. What do you remember about those games?
- We lost in the away match 1:0 and therefore we realized we were playing against a strong opponent. Furthermore, Auxerre was a mediocre club. However, we were able to win 2:0 in the home game. I'm pleased to face Zenit again!

- Can you take part in the match on 12 July?
- No, I can't play in the Super Cup. I need to resolve the problems with the visa. I'll wait the start of RPL. I hope I'll be able to make a good impression to the coach. I'll start to work with the team on Monday in Moscow.

- Why did you choose number 88 shirt?
- This is my year of birth. Generally speaking, I like to play under number 8 shirt, but it has already been taken. 

- Did you talk with your compatriot Christopher Samba before joining Lokomotiv?
- Yes, I did. He said that Dinamo and Lokomotiv are similar clubs with the highest tasks. He assured that I wouldn't regret to join Lokomotiv.

- In Lokomotiv's midfield played Lassana Diarra. Are you ready to be compared with him?
- Each player has his own style. However, I'll do everything is possible to please Lokomotiv's fans and to make the team happy.

Lokomotiv - Qarabag 2:2.

Yesterday, Lokomotiv played the last test match in Austria. The opponent was Qarabag from Agdam. 

The weather was hot. Therefore, both 'Railroaders' and Qarabag weren't satisfied by the heat. 

The game started on a slow level. The first action was created by the Azerbaijani side after 20 mins. 

Despite not playing on a high rhythm, Loko took the lead with Alan Kasaev who took advantage from a Maicon's assist. Nine minutes later, Reynaldo scored the 1:1 with a great free kick. 

In the second half, Cherevchenko decided not to change the line-up. After 72 mins, Tarasov scored the 2:1 with an easy tap-in. 

As happened in the first half, Qarabag immediately drew thanks to Mamedov. 

The next game is the Super Cup against Zenit on 12 July.

Cherevchenko named Corluka the captain for 2015/16 season.

Head Coach Igor' Cherevchenko has named the new captain of Lokomotiv for 2015/16 season. According to Loko's offical Twitter page, the new captain is Vedran Corluka.

Corluka signed for Lokomotiv in 2012. The 29 years old was also named the man of the season by Lokomotiv fans of the last season.

Lokomotiv - Ludogorets 2:0.

Lokomotiv has played the first friendly match in the camp in Austria. 'Railroaders' defeated Bulgarian side Ludogorets, which has been already faced in 2013 and in 2014. 

The game was held in a small village called Strasswalchen. 

Before the match, Vedran Corluka was named the new captain of Lokomotiv for the new season by the staff. In fact, the Croatian defender has demonstrated his value many times during his time in Moscow. 

Despite the hot weather, the team started immediately playing on high levels. The first opportunity was a counter-attack organized by Kasaev and Miranchuk. However, Aleksey wasn't able to beat Stoyanov. 

A few minutes later, Ludogorets could have scored, but Guilherme made an incredible save in the area. After that, Lokomotiv took the lead thanks to an amazing goal of Miranchuk - Aleksey dribbled three defenders and scored in the left corner. 

During the break, Cherevchenko made four changes. Guilherme, Miranchuk, Maicon and Yanbaev were replaced by Kochenkov, Kolomeytsev, Samedov and Denisov. 

After nine minutes, 'Railroaders' doubled the score. However, Samedov was in offside and so the goal was cancelled. Given that Loko was the leader on the pitch, a few minutes later Skuletic scored the 2:0.

In the final actions of the game, Niasse could have scored the third goal, but the Senegalese striker wasn't accurate.

Lokomotiv won an important match showing a good football. The next friendly game is on 7 July against Qarabag.

Igor Cherevchenko: "Our task for the season is to qualify for European football".

In the today's open training in Bakovka, Lokomotiv's Head Coach Igor' Cherevchenko answered to the media's questions. 

- Which are your main aims in this first camp?
- The whole team will be available on 26 June. We need to prepare physically the squad and to have a common denominator. At the same time, I have a link with National teams' players - they've got a program that can help them to prepare for the camp in Austria. 

- Which are the tasks for the next season?
- As usual, we want to be qualified for European football. 

- Pavlyuchenko left the team. Is he a loss?
- Yes, but there many other forwards. We've got a team. I don't want to make a tragedy for the departure of a single player. Pavlyuchenko had a good final of the season, but this is football. Someone arrives, someone leaves. 

- There were some rumors that linked to a possible move of Niasse to Galatasaray. Do you want to keep him?
- I've already spoken with Niasse. Despite wanting to keep Oumar, I can't assure him that he'll be in the starting line up.

- Which positions do you want to reinforce?
- I want to reinforce the central zone.

- Are you thinking to bring fans back to the Stadium?
- Of course, I'd like to see many fans on the stands. If they want, we can meet. 

Lokomotiv returned from holidays.

On Wednesday 17 June, Lokomotiv players returned from holidays and had medicals in one of the hospitals of the capital. 

The players that were engaged with National Teams had the possibility to join the team later. Although the break, the squad seemed rest. 

In particular, Lokomotiv's doctor Nikita Karlitskij assured that each player is ready for the new season: "Medicals are taken every six months to verify the status of players and to discover whether they are healthy or not. In this moment, everyone is healthy and is ready for the camps. And also for now victories."

This was confirmed by Serbian defender Nemanja Pejcinovic: "I spent my holidays in Serbia. I also visited Montenegro. We're ready to train and to prepare a successful season. We want to do better than the past one. Lokomotiv will play in three competitions - Europa League, Russian Cup and RPL. We can do it!"

This summer, Lokomotiv will have several friendly matches, including the ones in the camp in Austria, that will start on 28 June. 

Lokomotiv returned to Moscow.

Today 'Railroaders' returned in Moscow. The team will have a few days of rest and then will prepare the 1/4 of Russian Cup against Rubin.

Miodrag Bozovic: "The third camp is the most intensive".

Head Coach of Lokomotiv Miodrag Bozovic shared his feelings about the camp in Turkey and the meeting with striker Petar Skuletic. 

- Although the winter preparation has its own characteristics, I wouldn't say that our three camps are too much different, - said Miodrag. - There is a target: in each training, every day, we have to improve. The team is working for to reach the perfect condition and at the same time we're working on tactics. Maybe, the third camp is the most intensive. Here the technical staff require to play fastly. We are close to be ready for the restart of the season.

- You have warmly welcomed Petar Skuletic. And you also asked the team to help him...

- This is the same behavior for each new player. I told the guys to help Petar to settle down into the new team. This process doesn't depend only by the player, but also by his new habitat.

- Loko-TV will show the friendly match against Amkar. Tell us what do you expect from this game.

- It's good that fans are careful for the trend of camps. For us, this match will be such a training: the first 45 minutes will be played by a line-up, while the second half by another one. Our task is to play better than the other games, faster.

- Furthermore, Amkar is one of your former clubs...

- (laugh) This is not important. I say it again: I'm interested in how we'll play. About Amkar, I can say that as whatever former clubs, I feel a good nostalgia. 

Lokomotiv started the third training camp.

Lokomotiv started yesterday in Belek, Turkey, the third training camp that will last until 28 February. 

The team arrived in the evening and had a training session.

All the players will be present in the camp except defenders Maksim Belyaev and Renat Yanbaev, that will continue recovering from their injuries in Moscow. As soon as the are ready, they will join the main group in Belek. Petar Skuletic, instead, arrives today.

In Turkey, Lokomotiv will play some friendly games. Opponents and dates will be announced later.

Lokomotiv won the 2015 Marbella Cup.

Thanks to the yesterday's victory over Swedish Elfsborg, Lokomotiv won the 2015 Marbella Cup. Goals were scored by midfielder Dmitrij Barinov and striker Roman Pavlyuchenko. After the win, Pavlyuchenko and Aleksander Sheshukov were given the trophy: the first for Bozovic as Lokomotiv coach.

Guilherme and Logashov - in the main group.

The Lokomotiv's camp in Spain continues. In the today's training, both goalkeeper Guilherme and defender Arsenij Logashov trained in the main group. 

Their comebacks were afforded by a hard work with the physical coach. 

Guilherme returned from the injury suffered in Turkey, while Logashov was out since August. 

On February 11 Lokomotiv will play against Videoton.

There was a change in Lokomotiv's matches program for the Spanish camp. 

On February 11, Lokomotiv will face Hungarian Videoton. Kick off at 18:00 (Moscow Time). 

Lokomotiv - Atletico Paranaense 0:0.

Lokomotiv's line-up in the match against Atlético Paranaense wasn't too much different compared to the one against Dinamo Bucharest. The only surprise was Vitaliy Denisov, who returned from Asian Cup and got back his place on the left back. 

In the first minutes, Vitaliy was really dangerous with Alan Kasaev. Denisov seemed very active and fresh in his first game for Lokomotiv in 2015. This was a pleasure news.

After 12 minutes, Kasaev received the ball and dribbled three Brazilian defenders in the area, but he wasn't balanced enough to finalize the action. 

This action made 'Railroaders' confident and permitted them to press well the Brazilian, who could attack only with counterattacks.

Soon Atletico's keeper parried a terrible shot of Oumar Niasse: Weverton sent the ball on corner. Also Ilya Abaev was reliable: at 39' he parried a shot of Dellatorre.

The first half was really under Lokomotiv's control, but two moments ruined the match. The first, Vedran Corluka was injured and was subbed off by Aleksander Sheshukov. The second, the game was too much emotive and twice there were a fight in the midfield. So a lot of yellow cards were given. 

The second half started with some substitutions. Nemanja Pejcinovic, Jan Tigorev, Maicon and Roman Pavlyuchenko replaced Jan Durica, Manuel Fernandes, Aleksander Samedov and Oumar Niasse. The defense was really experimental with Pejčinović and Sheshukov.

Generally speaking, the second 45 minutes were similar to the first ones. The most dangerous chances were in favor of Loko, but 'Railroaders' weren't accurate. Pavlyuchenko missed a one-on-one against Atletico's keeper, while Mykhalyk hit the post. During the match,there was also a Brazilian torcida, who supported Atletico and spoke with their former keeper Guilherme.

The conclusion of the game against Dinamo Bucharest could happen again, but the Brazilian keeper parried an ahead of Pejčinović.

The final result was 0:0. Lokomotiv continues sharing the lead of the group in Marbella Cup with Atletico Paranaense. The winner will be decided in the third round in the match against Elfsborg, which will be played on Tuesday February 10. Kick off at 18:00 Moscow Time.

The first training in Spain.

Lokomotiv are arrived in Spain and have already had the first training. Defender Arsenij Logashov and forward Maicon Marques trained individually under the direction of Arthur Saveliev.

Lokomotiv have started the second winter camp in Spain. The flight to Malaga lasted five hours, while a bus carried the team to Mijas. In the squad there weren't striker Dame N'Doye, who was given a bit of rest after the African Cup, defenders Renat Yanbaev and Maxim Belyaev, who remained in Moscow training individually. Furthermore, defender Aleksander Seraskhov is on trial at one of Russian clubs. In the squad have been added goalkeeper Ilya Lantratov and midfielder Sergei Makarov, both arrived from the CIS Cup with Russian National Team, plus midfielder Dmitrij Barinov, who took the first camp with Lokomotiv's reserves.

During the last Saturday, Lokomotiv played the second friendly match in the camp in Turkey. 

Our team has won with an overpowering victory against the leader of the Armenian League, Ulisses, 4: ​​0. Goals were a double of Mbark Boussoufa,a goal of Aleksey Miranchuk and Roman Pavlyuchenko.
