Arshak Koryan - the best player in August.

Yesterday the time to vote the best player of Lokomotiv in August finished. 

Thanks to the votes in the official page Vkontakte, the winner was the captain of reserves Arshak Koryan. In a hard fight Koryan, who has scored seven goals and made three assist so far in the reserves Championship, has beaten midfielder Alan Kasaev. 

According to the poll Koryan got 41,7% of votes, which corresponds to 4793 users, while Kasaev 39,3% (4524 users). The third was another young of Loko, Aleksey Miranchuk - 9,6%, or 1.107 votes. 

About 11.500 persons participated to the poll. As tradition, the club will give to the winner of this prize a special gift. 

Three years since Yaroslavl tragedy.

Today is the third anniversary of the terrible tragedy that affected all the country. On September 7th 2011 in a plane accident near Yaroslavl, all Lokomotiv Team of hockey died. 

The memories of that tragic days are still alive in the pain. All the Russian sport and the Lokomotiv family were really worried about the plane crash in Yaroslavl and have tried doing all was possible for the families of victims, who weren't let alone. 

This a sad day not only for the employees of the club, but also the technical staff and all the players say their condolence to the families and friends of victims. The memory of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl will be always in our hearts. Today we cry with Yaroslavl and with the world of hockey.

N'Doye helped Senegal starting with a victory the qualifying round of 2015 Africa Cup.

Lokomotiv forward Dame N'Doye took part to the opening match of Senegal in the qualifying round of Africa Cup 2015. 

In the home game against Egypt N'Doye was in the first XI and helped finishing the first half with a good result: two assists of Dame to Diouf and Manè. N'Doye was substituted at 79' and the match finished 2:0. 

In this way, Senegal started with a victory the qualifying round of Africa Cup of Nations. The final stage will played in Morocco by the first two in each group, plus the best third. 

We remember that Senegal are in the same group of Tunisia and Botswana. The next game for Senegalese Team will be on September 10th away against Botswana.

Corluka, Durica and Tigorev played for their National teams.

Three Lokomotiv players Vedran Corluka, Yan Durica and Yan Tigorev took part in the friendly matches of their National teams in preparation of the start of the qualifying round of Euro 2016.

Corluka was in the first XI of Croatia in the game against Cyprus and was on the pitch for 69 minutes. His team won for 2:0.

Durica played a full match for his Slovakia against Malta: the Slovakian won 1:0.

Unfortunately, also another Loko player, Yan Tigorev, started in the first XI of National Team of Belarus, but after 18 minutes he was injured in the match against Tajikistan. Belarusian have beaten their opponent 6:1.

Arshak Koryan scored for the youth Team Russia.

Lokomotiv players Aleksey Miranchuk and Arshak Koryan took part in the youth Team Russia to the qualifying match of European Championship in 2015 against Denmark. 

The game was decisive in the race for the first place in the group, which give automatically a ticket for the play-off round. Both Loko players were in the first XI: Miranchuk played a full game and Koryan was changed after 73 minutes. In this case, it's important to report the Arshak goal. Unfortunately, the Russian team didn't reach to get good results, losing against the Danish for 2:4.

Nikolay Pisarev team have still a possibility to be qualified in the next round. They have to beat Andorra on September 9th and hope to be in the first four that ended in the second place in each group.

Samedov made an assist against Azerbaijan.

Lokomotiv midfielder Alexander Samedov took part to the great victory of Russia in a friendly match against Azerbaijan. 

Sasha entered in the pitch at 76' and five minutes later he kicked a corner, which assisted the head goal of Granat. The Russian team, in the first match after the World Cup in Brazil, have won 4:0. 

Now on September 4th our national team will start the qualification matches for Euro 2016 with a home game against Liechtenstein.

In the 1/16 of Kubok Rossii Lokomotiv play against Sibir'.

Today the results of the draw of 1/16 of Kubok Rossii 2014/15 have been known.

In the first round of the Russian Cup Lokomotiv play against Sibir'. The match will be played in Novosibirsk on September 24th or 25th. 

In the 1/32 Sibir' eliminated Tom' with a score of 3:2.

Oleg Pashinin - coach reserves.

The technical staff of Lokomotiv added a new specialist. 

He's former 'Railroaders' defender Oleg Pashinin, who will be a new assistent of current coach Denis Klyuev.He played in Lokomotiv from 1992 to 2007. Then he worked as physical preparer in Loko and as assistent in Lokomotiv 2.
