Miodrag Bozovic: "The third camp is the most intensive".

Miodrag Bozovic: terza collezione - la più intensa

Head Coach of Lokomotiv Miodrag Bozovic shared his feelings about the camp in Turkey and the meeting with striker Petar Skuletic.

- Although the winter preparation has its own characteristics, I wouldn't say that our three camps are too much different, - said Miodrag. - There is a target: in each training, every day, we have to improve. The team is working for to reach the perfect condition and at the same time we're working on tactics. Maybe, the third camp is the most intensive. Here the technical staff require to play fastly. We are close to be ready for the restart of the season.

- You have warmly welcomed Petar Skuletic. And you also asked the team to help him...
- This is the same behavior for each new player. I told the guys to help Petar to settle down into the new team. This process doesn't depend only by the player, but also by his new habitat.

- Loko-TV will show the friendly match against Amkar. Tell us what do you expect from this game.
- It's good that fans are careful for the trend of camps. For us, this match will be such a training: the first 45 minutes will be played by a line-up, while the second half by another one. Our task is to play better than the other games, faster.

- Furthermore, Amkar is one of your former clubs...
- (laugh) This is not important. I say it again: I'm interested in how we'll play. About Amkar, I can say that as whatever former clubs, I feel a good nostalgia.

Petar Skuletic: "I didn't have any doubt."

Petar Shkuletich: "Non ho dubbi per un secondo"

Immediately after the signing for Lokomotiv, Petar Skuletic gave a little interview to the official site before the online-video conference with fans.

"At the begin of the season I hadn't planned to leave the team in winter. I continued scoring and I understood that in this way I would have attracted attention on me. The percentage of a deal grew up."

About Lokomotiv's offer:
"I didn't have any doubt. As soon as I received the offer, I understood that this is what I need. I'm really happy to be here."

About Ivanovic and Pejcinovic:
"Of course I know them! However, I didn't judge the team from them. Lokomotiv is a famous club not only in Russia. In Serbia we perfectly know that Loko is a top club. For instance, give a look to the performances of  Ivanovic, Pejcinovic, Basa or Corluka. Although I've got a good relationship with Nemanja, I didn't consult him before signing the contract because I didn't have any doubt."

About adaptation:
"Russia and Serbia are brother countries, so there won't be problems. Each professional player must be ready for a surprise, if he joins a foreign country. However, this isn't my case. The Head Coach and some players come from former Yugoslavia, so they will help me. By tomorrow, I'm going to learn Russian, even if I already understand a lot of words."

About goals:
"I can't say anything, but I only want to work and to demonstrate my maximum value. I joined Partizan last winter and I said that I wanted to score 10 goals before the finish of the season. I scored only 7 goals. Before this season I didn't promise nothing and I scored 21 goals in 27 games, so I have sworn not to make futile promises."

About nickname:
"In Serbia I was called in various ways - Skulev, Skunte, Skuntelaar. However, this is not important unless fans like it."

About competition:
"I understand that there is a big competition in a top club. I know Roman Pavlyuchenko, he's s strong player with a glorious career. I also understand that Dame N'Doye scored a lot of goals and he was appreciated, so there is a great responsibility on me after his departure. However, felicity comes in training and in playing with real strong players. Competition and a strong line-up are very good."

The online-video conference with fans lasted more than 30 minutes, in which Petar answered to a lot of interesting questions. Here you can watch it:

Furthermore, a long interview with Petar could be read in the next number of "Our Loko" for the game of Russian Cup against Rubin Kazan' on March 3rd 2015.

Petar Škuletić signs for Lokomotiv.

Petar Shkuletich - nel "Locomotive"

Lokomotiv have found an agreement with Serbian club Partizan Belgrade for the transfer of striker Petar Skuletic. The 24 years old forward has signed a long-term contract. Petar will play with number 25 shirt.

Lokomotiv's sports director Kirill Kotov has commented the signing of Skuletic:

"After the departure of Dame N'Doye, we needed a classic forward, a player that could complete the attack. Petar Skuletic, the current goal scorer in the Serbian SuperLiga, is that kind of player. Skuletic is good in fights, has a good shot with both legs and has also a good velocity. We are sure that Petar will completely fit into the team before the upturn of the season and Lokomotiv's attack will improve."

Lokomotiv - Atletico Paranaense 0:0.

Zeri in diretta

Lokomotiv's line-up in the match against Atlético Paranaense wasn't too much different compared to the one against Dinamo Bucharest. The only surprise was Vitaliy Denisov, who returned from Asian Cup and got back his place on the left back.
In the first minutes, Vitaliy was really dangerous with Alan KasaevDenisov seemed very active and fresh in his first game for Lokomotiv in 2015. This was a pleasure news.
After 12 minutes, Kasaev received the ball and dribbled three Brazilian defenders in the area, but he wasn't balanced enough to finalize the action.
This action made 'Railroaders' confident and permitted them to press well the Brazilian, who could attack only with counterattacks.
Soon Atletico's keeper parried a terrible shot of Oumar Niasse: Weverton sent the ball on corner. Also Ilya Abaev was reliable: at 39' he parried a shot of Dellatorre.
The first half was really under Lokomotiv's control, but two moments ruined the match. The firstVedran Corluka was injured and was subbed off by Aleksander SheshukovThe second, the game was too much emotive and twice there were a fight in the midfield. So a lot of yellow cards were given.
The second half started with some substitutions. Nemanja PejcinovicJan TigorevMaicon and Roman Pavlyuchenko replaced Jan Durica, Manuel Fernandes, Aleksander Samedov and Oumar NiasseThe defense was really experimental with Pejčinović and Sheshukov.
Generally speaking, the second 45 minutes were similar to the first ones. The most dangerous chances were in favor of Loko, but 'Railroaders' weren't accuratePavlyuchenko missed a one-on-one against Atletico's keeper, while Mykhalyk hit the post. During the match, there was also a Brazilian torcida, who supported Atletico and spoke with their former keeper Guilherme.
The conclusion of the game against Dinamo Bucharest could happen again, but the Brazilian keeper parried an ahead of Pejčinović.
The final result was 0:0. Lokomotiv continues sharing the lead of the group in Marbella Cup with Atletico Paranaense. The winner will be decided in the third round in the match against Elfsborg, which will be played on Tuesday February 10. Kick off at 18:00 Moscow Time.
