Обломали крылья

Lokomotiv defeated Krylya Sovetov in the ninth round of the Russian Premier League.

Compared to the games against Rubin and Sporting, Lokomotiv made some changes. Kasaev returned in the starting line-up, while Skuletic replaced Niasse. Fernandes, instead, started his second game in a row in the first XI.

Since the first minutes, the match was very balanced. At the end of the first half, Skuletic scored a goal that was cancelled for an offside.

In the second 45 minutes, Lokomotiv played more fastly and as a consequence they were able to took the lead thanks to Corluka

A few minutes later, 'Railroaders' could have doubled the score, but Fernandes missed a good chance. Therefore, the technical staff decided to make some changes: N'Dinga replaced Tarasov, while Miranchuk took the place of Fernandes.

The substitutions were lucky: Niasse scored the 2:0 after a great combination with Miranchuk. A minute later, the Senegalese striker could have scored a brace, but a Krylya's defender blocked his shot.

Lokomotiv won a crucial game and stayed at the second place in the table, ahead of Zenit and behind CSKA. Next week, 'Railroaders' will face the Slutsky's team after the away game in the Russian Cup against Torpedo Armavir.
